Road Numbers SP 352005 / 352010

These 40' drop bottom gondolas with side extensions are painted box car red with
white 'SP' logo and white stenciling. End lettering is white. They were built in September
1946 by Pressed Steel Car Company and serviced in February 1965 in Fresno, CA.
They run on Bettendorf trucks. Originally numbered as 89854-90403 series, these
Class G-50-18 gondolas were fitted with different height extensions in the 1950s and
renumbered into the 35000 series.

Road Number BM 5404

This 40' Evans three-bay covered hopper is painted B&M blue with white logo and lettering. It was built in January 1979 by Evans Products Company and runs on Barber® roller bearing trucks. In 1988, most of the Evans covered hopper lease fleet was acquired by the Pullman Leasing Company, given PLCX reporting marks and renumbered. The primary commodity for these cars is grain.

Road Number GNOKL 728102

This 60' Centerbeam flat car is painted white with blue lettering and carries two different lumber loads. It was built in July 1978 by Gunderson Manufacturing Company and runs on Barber® roller bearing trucks. The Northwestern Oklahoma Railroad is a class III railroad operating in Woodward, OK, providing switching services for industrial customers. It interchanges with Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway in Woodward.

Road Number C&O 21457

This 50' standard box car with Youngstown door wears two of the experimental paint schemes, each side C&O dark blue with 12" and 36" yellow bands each on a different side. Each side bears the Chessie kitten emblem. The car is lettered in blue on yellow and yellow on blue. This car, fifth of six in the 'Cameo Car Series,' was built in May 1956 by Pullman Standard and runs on roller bearing trucks. All of the Cameo Series car designs feature varying widths of Yellow striping along with monograms and the recently adopted "Futura Demi-Bold" font.

This 50' Standard Box Car with single superior door is Car #13 of a series representing each of the Canadian provinces and territories. It displays the Atlantic Puffin and Pitcher Plant flower, Newfoundland & Labrador official provincial bird and flower. The flag of Newfoundland & Labrador is in the background. The road number 1949 represents the year the Newfoundland & Labrador joined the Confederation.

This black 39' single dome tank car has white lettering and runs on black Bettendorf trucks. Shippers' Car Line is a division of ACF Industries and operates cars under the SHPX reporting marks. Many cars were leased out to private companies. The diamond symbol on the dome denotes the manway bolted cover (dome closure) has a built-in safety feature so that internal commodity vapor pressure can't cause the cover to spring up when releasing the bolts. Newer tank cars we required to have this feature, eliminating the need for the symbol.

This 50' despatch stock car is painted box car red with white stenciling. It was built in July 1920 by Pullman Car Manufacturing Corp. of Birmingham, AL, and runs on Bettendorf trucks. T&P 21600 was assigned to series 21000-21699.

This 40' Standard Box Car with plug door is Car #2 of a 50-car series representing each of the 50 states in the union. It bears the American Goldfinch and Rhododendron flower, Washington’s official state bird and flower. The flag of the state of Washington is in the background. The road number 1889 represents the year 'The Evergreen State' was admitted into the union.

These GP-9 locomotives are painted Perlman green with orange logo, stripes and lettering. #725 was built in September 1955 and #712 was built in April 1953, both by the Electro-Motive Division of General Motors. Sacramento Northern (a Western Pacific subsidiary) acquired #712 from WP in 1971, after which the Perlman green with orange striping scheme was applied.

These 50' straight sided gondolas with H-beam loads are painted box car red with white lettering. They were built in March 1941 by General American Transportation Corp. and run on Bettendorf trucks. These mill-type gondolas were fitted with drop ends as well as wood floors.

Road Numbers CNJ 803 / 817

These PS-2 two-bay covered hoppers are painted bright red with white logos and lettering. They were built in April 1956 by Pullman Standard and serviced in January 1973. Both run on roller bearing trucks. The principle commodity handled by these hoppers is cement with other ladings including sand, potash, soda ash, soap, plastic pellets and flour. Many of these loads were corrosive, so the hoppers were designed to withstand their inherent effects and keep maintenance regulations to a minimum.
